One of the few remaining naturally aspirated performance cars on the market, the RC now packs an extra 5 horsepower and 6 pound-feet (8 Newton-meters) of torque for a grand total of 472 hp and 395 lb-ft (535 Nm). Output is channeled to the rear wheels through the same eight-speed automatic transmission, but the engineers have implemented a higher final drive ratio to improve response. As standard, the 2020 RC F boasts an electronic launch control for maximum acceleration performance, with the sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 kph) taking a mere 4.2 seconds or two-tenths of a second less than before. No word about top speed, but it should be in the same ballpark as the old one’s 168 mph (270 kph).
